Some of you know me, many of you don't. I'm a young guy, whom you will find out a lot more from this website. My name is Alexis Mathias Presa, or Presa for short.
This is my brain exploded and extracted. My deepest thoughts, my most outlandish ideas, my travels and adventures, my creative mind doing its thing. Just a hub for anyone and everyone to enjoy. From music to podcasts about pretty much anything, to designs of the week, to my very own clothing line in the works. I'm so glad you have stumbled upon this website, whether it be intentional or not.
Back in 2010, I began to use a program many of you are familiar with, called Photoshop. Little did I know, a couple years down the road I would be taking classes in high school that reinforced my desire to pursue design. When I found out that I could take my passion of art, and combine it with my passion for technology, I was instantly sold. Over the years, I developed my skills in the Creative suite and at the same time began taking up other interests of similar kinds. Photography, storytelling and filming became part of my skill set and continues to be.
More experiments, more trials and error, more successes. Music production and writing emerged and so I had all these faucets I had explored and enjoyed. It then struck me subtly back in the fall of 2014, that I needed to make a "hub" where all my enjoyments can be logged, viewed, and published. I needed a name, a brand and a website, a digital headquarters. After a year of finding inspiration, long walks and a deep internal search, I found the name "The Presa Collective" which is my last name, and a collective, or a collaboration of people, ideas, thoughts, and projects. That was that. A place where anyone can be immersed, amused, stimulated, informed, or simply fascinated by the ideas, thoughts and projects published on this website. After testing the name for a few years, it came to my attention that I needed to shift gears to a more personal appeal to the website. So I reverted to my name "Presa Design Co." and am happy with the outcome. Simple, personal, and ready to help in any way possible.
So what do you say? Join me in my adventure!
